Each subscription in Business Manager has a status - the parameter that defines how the system works with this subscription, for example, does the system bill the subscription or does the subscriber have access to its resources.
Subscriptions in Business Manager can have the following statuses:
The system changes a subscription status automatically as a result of certain actions initiated by the system itself or by an administrator. For example, when the system receives the first payment for a hosting subscription, it starts a task for creating this subscription in Panel and changes the status from Pending to Active or Failed depending on the result of the task execution.
The tables below show how Business Manager changes a subscription's status in certain cases.

In earlier versions of Business Manager, subscriptions also might have the following statuses:
If there were subscriptions with these statuses in your Business Manager before the upgrade to the current version, these subscriptions will receive the status Completed after the upgrade.
