Managing Plugins

You can view the list of all plugins installed on all WordPress installations, install and uninstall, activate and deactivate, and update plugins. Depending on your purpose, you can use the following options to manage plugins:

To install a plugin:

  1. If you want to install the plugin on one, several, or all WordPress installations, go to the plugins management page as described above and click Install Plugin.
  2. Use the search field to find the plugin by name, select the plugin name in the list of results, leave the Activate after installation checkbox selected, and click Install. We recommend that you install one plugin at a time. You cannot install several plugins at once because with every new search the list of search results is renewed and your previous selection is cleared.

Depending on your current needs, you can activate and deactivate plugins installed on WordPress installations.

To activate or deactivate a plugin:

  1. If you want to manage plugins on one, several, or all WordPress installations, go to the plugins management page as described above.
  2. For one or several WordPress installations, click the Inactive link next to the plugin name to activate, or the active link, to deactivate it. For all WordPress installations, select the plugin in the list and click Activate or Deactivate.

To uninstall a plugin:

  1. If you want to uninstall the plugin on one, several, or all WordPress installations, go to the plugins management page as described above.
  2. For one or several WordPress installations, click the dustbin_icon icon next to the plugin name. For all WordPress installations, select the plugin in the list and click Uninstall.

To update plugins:

  1. Go to Server Management > WordPress > the Plugins tab.
  2. Select the plugins in the list and click Update.
