To Manage Password-protected Directories, Please follow following steps:

Protected directories under the website yourdomain.com

1) Login to Plesk control panel.

2) Click on Websites & Domains.

3) Click on Show Advanced Operations.

4) Click on Password-protected Directories.

5) Click on Add A Protected Directory.

6) Enter Following details as marked in RED.

Directory Name*

Title of the protected area

7) Click Ok.

Information: Protected directory /abc/test2 was successfully created.

8) Click on Created Direct Name.

9) Click on Add New User for Set up a user account for access to the protected directory as you created by you.

10) Enter Following details as marked in RED.

Username*

New password*

Confirm password*

11) Click Ok.

Information: The user account for access to the protected directory was created.

12) Click on Directory Settings, for Change location, name, and area title of the protected directory.

13) Change Following details as marked in RED. If required.

14) Click Ok.

Information: Protected directory settings were changed.
