If you are going to use an FTP server for storing backup files, you should specify its settings first:

1) Login in to your Plesk Control Panel.

2) Click on "Websites & Domains " tab at the left.

3) Click on "Backup Manager" as marked in red.

4) Click "Personal FTP Repository" as marked in red.

5) Click "Personal FTP Repository Settings" as marked in red.

6) Enter information in red marked box.

7) If you want to use password protection for your backup then select password protection then enter password.

Note that if you forget the password that you use for backup protection, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you keep the list of your passwords and corresponding backup file names in a safe place.

8) Click Ok.
